July 4th is time to toast an iconic American car
With the recent July Fourth weekend it’s time to celebrate all things American. The 1964 ½ Ford Mustang is so quintessentially American that it should be painted red, white and blue. The Mustang was so popular, Ford sold a record 680,989 of the ponies in its first year. Furthermore, a whole genre of cars was named for it: pony cars. There have been many challengers, but the original is still the greatest.
