Ford Motor Company to produce Cargo trucks in Turkey

Ford will have two Cargo production plants in the world, one in Turkey and one in Brazil. We worked hard to convince Bill Ford to include the İnönü plant in the ‘One Ford’ strategy which aims to produce the same model at different production plants,” said Ford Otosan General Manger Nuri Otay. “The Cargo trucks that will be produced in Eskişehir will be exported to 65 countries, and Ford [after selling off its European trucking unit to Italian Iveco in 1986] is expected to re-enter the sector on a global scale.”
