2013 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel Plans ‘Confirmed’…Again
Chevrolet’s new Cruze compact car, the replacement to the lackluster Cobalt, has met with positive reviews from the press and fair sales success, but it may soon get even more attractive to those with mileage on their minds: a diesel version is coming. Earlier this year news surfaced that the Cruze diesel was coming via a briefing to workers at Chevrolet’s Lordstown, Ohio plant who were told of plans to build the car. The latest confirmation cites two unnamed persons familiar with the matter. Chevrolet has not made any official announcement of plans to build a diesel Cruze.
